About Us

For those who do not already know, we tried to disrupt the traditional commercial soap industry in my country (Sudan) in the late 2013. Taking it a step further, I made the brave (some say crazy) decision to formulate and manufacture the soap myself, going head-to-head with the ‘big of the big, I call’ of the time. I wanted to ensure consistent supply and quality … and knew I could do it better.

And so FaridaFA was recognized in 2020. Those years in between, have been a long, bumpy, and thoroughly rewarding road. Without any outside investment or external shareholders to satisfy, FaridaFA growth and reputation for high quality handmade soaps has been entirely natural. What I have learned over the years, is that you must keep improving. Whilst I have never been interested in being the biggest, I do want to make FaridaFA better all the time, to continue my great British manufacturing story for generations to come.
